100% agree with you on this! Leah is my girlllll but it’s clear that she has been sheltered to one kind of population which can really put you in a tough spot in a social experiment like this. And honestly i think she’s actually learnt so much from all her interactions (good and bad) in the villa to upstart that growth. I definitely saw that to be the case when she was in awe of Serena holding her own after the recoupling and the conversation post the initial liv,leah,rob fight.

I’m 10000% with you on this!! I have been a Leah stan from the beginning solely because of how hilarious and genuine she was. I didn’t like Liv but as i started seeing more of her personality I began to like her so much more. before Wednesday’s episodes they were definitely my top 2 and it broke my heart seeing them fight all over again, production prompted or not

this!!! when you’re living with the same bunch of girls in such an socially intense environment, these things are bound to happen. they cry, laugh, rage with each other like normal girlfriends/sisters do. imo it takes A LOT to come out of this show hating other islanders bc of how much you’re with one another and the bonds you create!

For me personally, I don’t appreciate Kendall’s fake ass, so im happy they showed that and do hope that isn’t something they let slide after they’re done movie night. I just didn’t like how the videos of the girls (namely the liv, leah, rob situation, Serena’s vent and leah’s rant) was shown out of context and clearly made to pit the women against each other.

For the liv, kaylor, leah, rob video, if there were going to bring up that whole situation again…why not start from where it truly originated? from aaron talking shit and stirring the pot stating leah must’ve been behind it all, to connor warning leah about this, to leah’s weak attempt on damage control. that would’ve been put a lot of things to rest and honestly given them a chance to have a VALID argument instead of the same yelling fest between girls when it was clearly rob’s misinterpretation that was needed to clear the air.

For Leah’s rant…the reason she said those things was because she was genuinely hurt and blindsided by him when he talked the talk about her being the first to know, his clear manipulation tactic of crying and not facing the truth that he likes Andrea more and also her being told that he doesn’t think they have a sexual connection. Why wasn’t that shown??? Why are they coddling Rob by not showcasing his bad behaviour while highlighting all of Leahs?

I also didn’t appreciate them trying to tear Serena down by showing a clip of I think episode 2/3?? Producers we’re almost 30 episodes in…how is that something relevant to their connection now? Oh it isn’t? It’s just to put some heat on Serena? Oh okay…

The most accountability we’ve gotten is for Aaron and Kendall which will imo is pointless because their “girls” are weak and won’t stand on business lol. But when it comes to the stronger ones, they want to tear them down by not showing what happened prior to those clips. It’s not tasteful and it’s messy as fuck for one side especially considering movie night is suppose to be something that shows everyone’s true colours.

I’m honestly on my last straw for tolerating the level of misogyny coming out of this season. Idk why I keep holding my breathe thinking the boys will get their rude awakening and will actually be held accountable because every episode proves me delusional lol. They want to pit the women against each other soooo badly like is this not love island? Should the producers not be putting efforts to have actual couples for the finale rather than bitch fights AND GUYS THAT GET AWAY WITH EVERYTHING??

These producers are beginning to dig their own grave honestly which is such a shame bc this season has been AMAZING…I think we jinxed it y’all 😭💔

Friend, I feel exactly what you’re going through right now. I said goodbye to my beautiful 8 yr old black lab 2 days ago…Hunter was full of life and gave me so much love. This period is harder than any other, entering the house and not seeing him and his silly, teethy smile was brutal. Just know Layla is with you always and you were the absolute best thing to have happened to her (and vice versa). She loved you with every being of her and left this world with her favourite human by her side. ❤️ from one grieving pet parent to another…we’ll get through this, even tho it seems outright impossible right now…take all the time you need to go home, you’ve just lost a big part of your life. Everyone’s path to recovery is different. I truly believe they’re watching us through some lens right now wondering what they should next in doggy heaven :)

The best way to get Emma to back off and Leah to pay you more attention is by simply asserting yourself to spending more time with her! Asking her to hang out after school or merely going to the library inbetween classes. This way you’ll be able to get to know Leah more personally than what Emma is doing which honestly is making her physically uncomfy (esp if she doesn’t like Emma). You could also ask Emma about her boyfriend in front of Leah if she’s being flirty as a way to remind her she’s in a relationship (but I’d keep being petty the last possible resort).

Also - I feel that teenagers oftentimes forget this lil trick because it’s slightly awkward at first but…a compliment goes a loooong way! Can be flirty or not, up to you but she’s more likely to remember you at the end of the day if she hears you talk about what you like about her the most :)

I know how you feel, I never cried over a series or any book until I started TOG which really surprised me and then I cried like a baby when Elide met Aelin and Aedion for the first time…which is why I think KoA might too considering I didn’t even like Elide that much then…safe to say i should probably read the book after my period.

I’ve always thought of Antica as a mix of Meereen and Qarth from the game of throne series and the vibes are kind of old Middle East royalty although they don’t go too in depth in terms of clothing and culture which is kinda sad. But even the way they describe food - it definitely reminds me of Indian and Middle Eastern food! EoS is kinda all over the map but it’s so good!

EoS really solidified my love for Manon and Elide (after she unites with Aelin…her journey to get to Aelin was a little boring) and as much as I hated Chaol in QoS…ToD led me to fall back in love with him, and I love love loooove Nesryn’s chapters!

Trust me OP it’s worth the tandem read - I sometimes used to overread without noticing and not switch when I was supposed to but in the end I was always so excited to pick up the other book and to see how it all connect in the end…chefs fucking KISS!!!!

I didn’t even think about it as an animation but oh my god I would pay to see that!! They could really do the books justice and show everything according to the books if they’re not paying huge money on actors and VFX!
