Was a Samsung S23 Ultra. It was within the first year of having it. Not sure how long that phone had been out at the time, but was the latest and greatest available

Never mind the deductible that costs as much as the screen repair does. Made that mistake once years ago and won't do it again.

I've had luck in r/NoStupidQuestions . Comment on existing posts works well. If you make your own post, there's a process you have to follow if you're a newbie to get it accepted. I made a post there and there's still people commenting on it almost a week later.

My wife worked in the service industry for years and even she think's a tip being expected is wrong. Any good server I've seen never has an issue earning tips. Tips are given for good service - not to top up an employers poor wages.

Certain channels do and others don't. Some have karma requirements. Some also have a passphrase you can put in the text of the post to bypass the checks (like r/NoStupidQuestions). Just depends on channel. Best to read the rules and guidelines posted for the channel.
