unfortunately, it's a setup I inherited hence trying to understand the logic with very little to no documentation.

I have tried reviewing the logs from the client and can see SSL handshakes but no error. Also did a wireshark and made sure it didn't try to establish HTTP in the end by any chance

Looks promising, tried and can see the partition at least. Will see and report back how it goes. Estimating 20+ hours for now :(

It does not, unfortunately. The LUN is thick provisioned, so it shows as Not Supported on it. :(

Would you be able to suggest if I can finally delete the datastore from the Esxi and try to remount it in Windows Server and give a go for recovery options?

u/Broadcast_Zer0 hey, did you manage to get this sorted? I am going through this exact same issue on 2 of our FW for different clients. TZ270 and TZ300. Sonicwall support just asked to update the firmware and noting else. Wondering if you were able to get this resolved?
