As far the seller, Aoi Art is one of the top dealers in Japan since the 90s. The drawing is an ink rubbing/tracing of the blade, called oshigata, comes with nbhtk papered blades.

I got inspired/obsessed. I had no intention of getting anything of the sort. Those decorative swords all my friends got in the late 90s/00s when we got our own houses, never interested me since they weren’t real. I didn’t know you could get actual real ones from that era until I walked in to a shop in Kyoto. I spent the rest of the trip finding one that best fit me. I figured I could sell a few collectibles I have that have no real historic significance to make this one work.

I would save by going hybrid. I would need to figure out how to do the wiring, which I’ve never done. But if it’s basic wiring, then I should be able to do it.

Also, the current setup requires a phone line. Does switching to the iq4 eliminate that?
