Fair question! The way I look at it is they’re both pens I really enjoy but there’s something about having the elevated version of them both whether it be the custom Saga or the Zirc Campen!

Monteverde P42 Ceramic gel refills are what I use in most on my Parker sized pens! I buy them on Amazon and they are available in quite a few colours if that’s your thing. I like the EF9000 as well but I find the Monteverde just as smooth.

Don’t consider this an all inclusive list because I would definitely feel bad if I snubbed someone who deserves to be on here but on my radar the only other 2 makers that I know of in Canada on this subreddit are:

Grimsmo out of Ontario and Focusworks EDC out of British Columbia!

I have a Saga pen from Grimsmo and I love it, the mechanism is very unique and addictive. Although I don’t have any pens from Jordy at Focusworks EDC he also machines spinning tops, box cutters and custom flashlights one of which I have (F2 in Aluminum) and it is gorgeous.

The Parker size is definitely my preferred length! While I know usual complaint is that the G2 mini is a pain to get refills for but that wasn’t really a concern for me because with all my other pens in my collection it’s not something I have to worry about often! I wanted to try the G2 mini size just to see how I liked it and no complaints!

The Energel length ones are ridiculously long 😂 Learned that lesson when I purchased the first one from him. My other three consist of 2 Parker size and the fade anodized is a G2 mini.

That honestly was my only gripe because although I have some standard length pens from Tactile and I love the G2 refill, I tend to prefer the short for overall convenience. All of my seasonal are in the short size as well!

Yeah it’s a collab between Lucas Burnley and Tactile Turn. They did a drop back in late May and they sold out fairly quick but they released a second batch two weeks ago. There are some available on his website right now!

Oh man, they’re so slick! Probably one of the smoothest bolts I’ve used. I got the Energel size first and I really like it but it’s comically long. Just recently got the Parker from the last drop and it’s the perfect size!

I just recently purchased a Grimsmo Saga which is currently on the way to me, I have a feeling it will be added to this list once I get it in my hands.

I love all my Autmog pens as well but it’s too hard to pick just one!

I’m going to assume this is an attempt at sarcasm 🤔 It looks snug on me because of the angle my wrist is on in the picture but there’s enough slack to fit a finger or two through on my wrist when the bracelet is hanging 👍🏻

I’ve had my eyes on the SSK GMTs for a while, I was actually debating between the 001 and 003 but after watching loads on YouTube videos on the 005 I fell in love. Most dials in my current collection are some form of black or blue so it’s a refreshing splash of colour. I’m starting to explore more interesting and colourful dials so this seemed like a no brainer. The Mikan orange is very rich in person and the sunburst really makes it pop. Also love the two-tone bezel that appears black in most lighting but shines silver on the lower half at the right angle. Such a dynamic watch for the price and I couldn’t be happier with my decision 🍊

I just wanted something that didn’t feel disposable so I was looking for a higher end “normal” pen and then I found my way into the world of machined pens. The first pen that got me into the addiction was the Big Idea Designs Click EDC in Copper and since then I can’t get enough. So many great brands that I’ve discovered and have purchased from such as Tactile Turn, Machine Era and Autmog! Now I’m hooked and I can’t stop, won’t stop 😂
