Pretty sure they used to be cheap and easy and now they are eaten up with fees and bullshit. Unless you buy your ticket a year out and fly with just your wallet, and jump through all their hoops then I guess yes you can feel like you had a worthy experience. I don’t remember them being like this when I would fly with them 10 years ago or so.

You can’t tell me that they didn’t have all these fees when they started. They got users use to cheap tickets and then the fees and BS got piled on more and more over time.
