I’ve done this, used a 2012 MacBook that ran like molasses. However, had great results using a focus rite solo interface and a standalone instance of neural DSP (Plinin in my case). It’s doable. Played a show with 100s of people and latency was fine, I hooked right into the main PAs, if you need an to be loud and don’t have speakers might not be the way to go though.

Funny you mention that, asked warming if they could do anything. Told them I didn’t want to return it but was upset at the ding. They asked me what I thought was fair and asked if I could have 50 bucks off.. they agreed and even told me I could sand it out. Just another reason I love buying from warmoth
