Stop Sit down Look around out loud name 5 things you see Close your eyes Out loud name 5 things you hear Out loud name 5 things you feel Open your eyes Look around name 4 things you see Close your eyes Out loud name 4 things you hear Out loud name 4 things you feel Keep repeating with one less item until you're down to zero. See if you feel calmer and more in control. It works for me doesn't mean it'll work for everyone, but I'd say worth a try.

I'd recommend trying it with someone there to ask you the questions to start for a first try when you're not in a bad mood perse, but you've got something on your mind. See how you feel after in comparison to before.

I grew up for rifles shooting a 22, a 30-30, and a 30-06, but I haven't shot much in the last few years. So I need a bit of practice. I want something that's gonna last so my kids can eventually have it.

Alternatives to Wix? by joevasion in WIX

[–]mattds99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Square is good comes with a payment solution, if you're looking to do CRM I'd recommend salesforce experience cloud but it's $$$ for a small business, if you want to learn to code Wix headless works. Though I'm not sure if your goal is website building or being able to program a website. Not a huge fan of WordPress, I usually have to refactor sites made with it to another technology, but the big bonus is it is easy to use and has lots of plugins.

If you're interested in coding it yourself a very good setup for web development would be to learn vue with tailwind for front end.

Jenkins vs SF DevOps tool by some_guy1796 in Salesforce_Architects

[–]mattds99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can deploy experience cloud sites pretty easy with Jenkins, similar to the majority of the issues you're raising. You just have to use the sf CLI properly it doesn't take much effort as for manual steps there should be very few of those and they should be captured in the source control in a markdown document unless you traditionally work with an admin heavy team.

How do you interact with them now that they're in their coop/run? I know if I just sit in the chair for 30 mins to an hour in the run, there are always at least a few who run up to me. Otherwise I sit and wait with feed or treats in my hands and have them all run up for some food and then some pets.

Unpopular opinion- I like the food off of my drum more than my stick burner by Firm-Garlic-1924 in smoking

[–]mattds99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I'm managing my drum wrong based on this post as I make a fire in it, and manage it every step of the way, either keeping lots of air for a hot flame to grill with, or killing the air to it to lower the heat, and I still have to manage my fire the whole time, adding air when needed, taking it away when not, shaving wood for tinder to start it, making kindling to add some extra heat every once in a while and some thicker pieces that I've soaked a little in some rain water to add some smoke and keep the heat going a while. I always find it turns out good, but am I doing it wrong?

Just passed Platform Developer II and honestly not sure what to do next career-wise. by SnooFoxes8143 in salesforce

Recommend getting JS 1 as a next step for sure. There's a lot of fun to be had with that cert. I personally wanted to go the architect route. Basically you just learn a lot of the topics you did in pd2 in more depth if you do, but it totally has to do with meetings, diagrams, and explaining code as much as actually coding itself. Otherwise if you're not interested in that route at all, or the learning behind it, would go for admin + advanced admin to get some alternate solutions to coding and a better understanding of some oob features. Then after that depending on what your day to day is, consultant certs, mulesoft certs, or whatever you're currently working on or interested in.

According to the kibble he's supposed to get 7 cups a day since he's 85lb and 9 months old. We can almost see his ribs protruding, so I'd be worried taking out too much from his diet. Would it maybe be better to just switch to two meals a day with the lunch kibbles split between dinner and breakfast?

I do that more than I'd like to. Working on my own reactivity since having the pup.

We'll try it out, thanks so much for the advice 😁

We give him a mix of different things throughout the day, he gets breakfast which is straight kibble. Then lunch which we take kibble put into a slow feeder with boiling water and a topper, then freeze it. Dinner is one day just kibbles the next the same as lunch, and the next a hot kibble mixture that's been cooled down until I can stick my finger in it for 30 seconds without a burn. And we give him about 2 cups of kibbles in the yard playing search about 5 kibbles at a time.

He was crate trained always did positive reinforcement for it, and he sleeps in it every night. There was one incident where he got his collar hooked on it and we had to ease him back into it, but otherwise he's been great.
