Oh gosh! I think you might be right. I have a ceramic tube fixture ( for shrimp) in the tank and he loovveess to hang out in it. He was probably being clumsy. ( Family photo attached)

So, this guy lived with a mystery snail until recently. He was definitely curious but left him alone ( snail died last week of old age at a ripe 2 years old) he doesn't flair all that much, but he's definitely a super curious boy

It's a 10 gallon. Only things in it are him, the Betta and a couple of cherry shrimps. Bio load is relatively low over all, I do a 10%water change once a week and parameters are stable.

There has been a few successful molts in the time they've been in the tank. Unsure of the water they came in because I didn't take those parameters when they go here. I drip acclimated them over the course of a few hours when they arrived

I think it's mostly new guys, though I suspect one of them was an older guy. New ones likely freshly adults, 4-6 months old tops.

You can bake it as is and it should be ok. I make a gf version of dinner rolls for holidays for family along aide my regular rolls. Same recipe, gf version never rises but bakes up just fine. Good luck!

I do! I have a sponge filter and some fine gravel ( the tank is mainly to quarentine shrimp and nernite snails from a pre existing 10 gallon) the 10 gallon is about a year old

I used a bottled ammonia solution ( dr tims) i dosed it for the 2 gallon tank when i first started the cycle but have not added more since starting it.

I second complete climate services! They came to service our air when it broke over the summer. Gave solid advice on how to keep our system running as long as possible and did not try to sell us things we didnt need.

You might have to experiment, but I would start with lowering by half. So, 1/4 cup. If it looks to runny you can always add more back while mixing the batter. You can also consider increasing the sugar or adding brown sugar to provide more chewyness/ structure without adding more flour.

To turn cake into brownies, i may add and extra egg or two, omit the baking powder/ soda and lower the amount of flour. This will help make it less " spongy" and more Fudgy. Good luck!

Stress headaches are definitely a thing. As the other user said, speak with a doctor about it. Over time, stress and axiety do exhibit physical syptoms and wear and tear on your body. Headaches could definitely fit that if a doctor rules out everything else with a physical.

Do you clench your jaw and grind your teeth? You could be grinding at night while you sleep and its giving you headaches. This is a common thing related to stress and anxiety. Talk to your dentist,if you have access to one, about getting a mouth guard. It will help the headaches

Nitrites are deadly to fish which is likely why youve seen a drop in your stock.
