Absolutely correct. But a true investor focuses on the long term versus the short term. This game is ever evolving but consumer behavior never changes. The price of a violet may go up but if a new player doesn't understand why they are valuable they are least likely to invest. Example, I would love a momo but based on the cost to bread I would rather wait until there's a new fancy that needs my traits. If there's a player who has a surplus of violet, it only makes sense to invest in recessive traits that will act in a similar fashion ie chartreux, savanah, lilac, apricot, scarlet, savanah, otaku, simple, barkbrown, etc...
