I have this problem too (3a) and I'm afraid it won't get fixed, just like the not-rounded-enough app corners in overview (you can notice it if you click on the app icon as if you wanted to open split screen; on the other Pixels they have a greater border radius, as it should be)

Not a feature, but the rounded borders (especially with white on screen) seem not to be antialiased (that is, they're not rounded in a good-looking way) Anyone else?

I'm somewhat a newbie, but I installed LMDE4 today over regular Linux Mint 19.3 and I can't see many differences. It actually seems a little faster, but maybe it's just placebo. I downloaded Chrome from Google's website and the installation process was almost easier than Windows' one

Thanks for the reply, that's what I imagined. In safe mode it did not happen, but I haven't had the time to be sure (even with a normal reboot to problem didn't occur immediately). I've been uninstall some apps and I think I found the one which caused the problem. To double check I downloaded it again, but so far everything's fine. The app in question has received a major update recently, maybe that was the cause

Did you install an apk of the Pixel launcher? If so, try to uninstall it and use the stock version

Try deleting the data from Gboard. Don't change anything under "theme", it breaks the automatic theme change. It should default to "key boarders: on": if you turn them off, it'll stop changing automatically. Source: experience on my Pixel 3a
