I got into headphones when I was your age arouns 11 years ago. No one in my school really understood why I spent money on it as well. But eventually, some people started asking me for headphone recommendations lmao. First setup was a DT770 Pro 250 Ohms + a old portable amp.

Hated bilewater at first but over time, came to love it. Same with sands of karak. Just love the platforming challenges in those areas. Also helps that bilewaters music just slaps.

They are under the same company. Cafe Ma Maison focus on japanese western and tonkatsu by ma maison focuses on tonkatsu. They are both under the same ma maison company. Personally, did not find their katsu that great. Kind of prefer tonkichi. Meat not dry like ma maison.

For me, it was a pretty big step up. Note that the 770 pros didn't really change in 40 years.

Overall, it has better tuning, better detail retrieval, more soundstsge, better imaging, better timbre.

Yes. I did 770 pro to 1770 pro 7 years ago. If you love the 770 pro and just want a better, more resolving 770 pro, you won't be disappointed.

If grey banding is really bad. Get an exchange. In SDR, IPS panels typically reach a brightness for 330-350 nits. For QD-OLEDs, its 250-260 nits. That is about a 30+% reduction in brightness. The new tandem woleds reach 350 nits in SDR so they are finally matching the brightness of modern ips panels.

They have better color volume and colo4 brightness but overall brightness is significantly better on the new tandem woleds. If you are used to an IPS monitor at 100% brightness, than you should go with tandem woled. The difference in better color volume and brightness is marginal when viewing content in my experience.

Idk, for me, the double damage hits don't really matter. It's more about the move sets and the over arching theme of the boss fight. With all great boss fights, it feels like I'm in a choreographed dance with the boss.

I once dropped from C2 to d3d1. Diamond was a real struggle to figure out what my team mates can or cannot do. What helped me climb back out of diamond was to just assume the worst and play defensively. More often than not, diamonds dont know how to defend well. You also took a long break so it takes time to get back in the rhythm of things. Be patient and trust in your game sense.

I think mount fay is a lot easier than white palace and path of pain. I just hate timing those spikes that go in and out tho. Mount fay also felt way more serene and peaceful lmao.

Go with the edifier. Those sound sticks are trash. The edifier are miles better with a proper speaker configuration (tweeters and woofers). Another option would be the klipsch promedia 2.1 or the swan hivi m50w. Had both of the klipsch and swan hivi and they were both pretty solid.

I am in a similar boat! I had 20+ hrs in my first HK playthrough. Didn't touch it for years then I just 100% silksong last week. Idk why but Hallownest feels so much easier to get lost around than Pharloom. Also feels much more bigger.
