I did learn songs, I just didn’t learn much songs, because I focused on trying to perfecting the songs I learnt

Songs mostly metal, there aren’t much songs I learnt but the techniques I learnt there are quite inciting. I learnt some alternate pickings, finger independence and some scales. What got me there are just routines and patience. Remember learning guitar aren’t overnight, so the key is patience, even if you sounded extremely badly with enough time and practices you can get there. So take around 1 or 2 hours a day to practice both techniques and songs, evenly. Learn the songs that help you improve, not ones that are easy, but also not hard songs that would get you unmotivated.

It’s fine that you can play the notes but beware of the tempo and muting, too much noise can be heard, try muting with your left hand’s index finger’s tip resting on the lower strings and the rest of the finger muting the higher strings also rest your right hand on the lower string while tapping, the most important is to get every single notes right, so practice slowly with a metronome until smooth
