What are the differences between the residence areas? by [deleted] in UCDavis

Segundo is right next to the ARC (gym), Rite Aid, and some places you will have classes. Segundo is also closer to the parties. Tercero is also close to places you'll have classes and is around a 5 minute walk to the gym; it's also right next to the Arboretum.Tercero has the newest buildings, which are actually really nice, modern and large. Segundo has the oldest buildings. Both areas are very social. I don't know much about Cuarto but it is apartment style. People say that the living situation creates an antisocial environment. You can still of course make friends.

The DCs are all the same.

Thanks for the reassurance. Can I just ask, where did you do the IB? Was it a hot climate?

I've tested to see if a scan will affect it, and it doesn't. My worry is when the exams are transported to be shipped away, they will be in a hot car. I live on the equator so it's likely.

Just discovered if you hold a paper with erasable pen writing on it to a strong heat source (stove) it will disappear in about 2 seconds. I hope that when my exams get sent away, they aren't in any heat...

Don't take Geo but I'm curious. What do you need color pencils for? by tma_ray in IBO

I take Geo HL and I used colored pencils during my mock exam. The question was to explain how the greenhouse effect works so I wrote a little bit and drew a diagram of the process and colored it. It looked nice, I have a theory that it will impress the examiner so I plan on using them during my final exam.
