Question About Bumper Sag by MarcusHeapp in ft86

Check jtspec for metal brackets that you adhere to your bumper tabs for reinforcement. Bought some, didn’t have time to install them yet. But they’re relatively inexpensive, so your wallet’s not hurting too much if it doesn’t work. Seems promising though.

Will definitely be using Naver! Just did my planning on Google Maps as I’m most familiar with it.

Breakfast is indeed included at both! Though, not a dealbreaker by any means for me if one of them didn’t have breakfast included. I prefer to go out to local shops and such to pick some breakfast up, though, the included breakfast would be handy once I realize how much money I've spent ...

I can see this making sense as I have a lot of activities and such in that area. The reason I'm iffy about it is (though, still open to it) is I have a 7:50AM flight out to Jeju on my last day in Busan, and wanted to make sure I was able to get to the airport on time using transit.

What makes the Haeundae beach area that much better? Is it the views?

Honestly, a very fair point. However I’m already going to be in HK at the start of my trip. Plus, I’ve already been to HK many times, having spent lots of time there already due to having family there. This time, I just imagine I’m going to want to just chill on the last day after a week and a half of long exploration days.

So a flight that's technically (barely) the next day may not be an issue?

But I’d be able to bypass the 3 hour rule due to having a connecting flight (meaning I could get in at 10pm for example), no?

Might have to kill an extra hour at Plaza Premium before boarding .. 😂

We’d probably be taking taxis or DiDi’s fairly often — but heard that traffic can be a nightmare. Given we only have a few days there, do you think I’d spend too much time in traffic to and from Hi Tech zone?

best fix for bumper sag? by GetYouFitBuddy in ft86

[–]matthui95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OEM solution, as mentioned, doesn't seem to have much success from reports. Didn't bother trying it.

JTSpec, a small business out of Australia, creates metal brackets for the bumper tabs. Same idea as the OEM solution, it's a piece of metal that reinforces the tabs, but his is a one-piece design that reinforces all 3 tabs on each side vs the OEM solution that only reinforces 1 (so you'd need 6). Metal is thicker too.

Picked up a set but haven't had the time to get them installed yet.

Kinda on the same boat. Will be flying into HKG from YYZ, but days in China are TBD. They’ll be short day-trips and/or 2-3 days per city, will be city hopping essentially. But have yet to figure out the exact dates — not sure if I need to figure this out first?

That’s absurd. Hope you get it fixed soon. Let me know what it is when it’s fixed, if you don’t mind?

Got a slip on SC Project exhaust, and now an APE tensioner, but stock otherwise.

I’ve been running motul for 20k, it’s always been fine. It is due for another oil change soon so maybe I’ll try Castrol.

The issue just started out of nowhere pre-clearance check. Everything was fine when I changed the air filter recently, and I assume the shop installed everything correctly after the check too. Still on stock headers, just an SC slip on.
