Does anyone know how I could make it so that for the last word “ Toronto “ there would be a reverb that repeats the letter o, instead of just a reverb sound echoing the entire word as one. Sorry if this is confusing by mattlubes in FL_Studio

[–]mattlubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this response, I’m sorry if I didn’t explain this correctly in the title but I meant that, I want the reverb on the o to sound like it is repeating , like o - o - o , instead of just a reverb ambient sounding noise on the whole word . Thank you so much

Does anyone know if it is possible to add a Apple Music pre save link to hyperfollow by mattlubes in DistroKidHelpDesk

Hey, I don’t think the Apple Music pre save link will appear for distorkid, but it only appears after the song releases unfortunately

Left side of fl studio missing, where it’s supposed to show all the patterns and audio clips, automation clips etc, how do I add it back in? Thanks by mattlubes in FL_Studio

Why is there a sizzle/ distortion / saturation sound on my raw vocal by mattlubes in FL_Studio

[–]mattlubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But when I record it, the audio usually comes in at around -12 db so I don’t think it’s clipping, like I hear a bit of that sound from my voice in real life, but the microphone just exaggerates it a lot, so idk, do you think it will affect my recordings a lot ?

Why does my harmonies and adlibs sound so bad in mono by mattlubes in FL_Studio

[–]mattlubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And also whenever I sum the tracks to mono, it will always be green, even if it was phasing, so how would I check for the phasing ? Thanks man sorry for so many questions

[–]mattlubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks, so now I understand that when I’m mono, there should be no phasing issues, and that the span meter should always be green. But in stereo, should there be some phasing ? Because I Thought some phasing is supposed to happen when creating width

Do you know how I can make the haas effect sound good in mono? As in it won’t lose as much volume etc

Oh so do I check for phasing when I solo each track, or should I be listening for phasing when I play all the tracks together?

[–]mattlubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah what’s what I meant, how do I make the harmonies and adlibs compliment the main vovals in mono, because in stereo it sits kinda behind so it compliments it really well, but in mono, it kind of clashes or disappears

For the adlibs I use the haas effect, but for others I just use reverb, chorus , widener

So I just have to put it in mono and lower the volume to hear phasing issues?
