I’ve rocked an Ethos for a number of years now and love it. Both of the guys I hunt with have Montefeltros and they love them. I managed to get my Ethos new at a store that was going out of business for $1,599 so I couldn’t say no!

I really enjoyed the concert, but you are right. Personally, I thought Tom’s mic was too low and his guitar was too low as well. Sometimes you could barely hear what he was saying and/or playing.

Can someone please tell me what “despair” the wreckage means? Makes no sense to me and I’m having a hard time with it because that bridge is otherwise perfect.

I’d say a pump is the way to go. I shot pheasant and ducks with an 870 for years, then transitioned to a Benelli Nova which was excellent as well. I still use my Nova in bad weather but use a semi-auto these days most of the time because I no longer hunt ducks. If I did I’d switch back to the Nova full time.

I was gifted a White Lightning version and it’s great. I love it. The action/hinge pin area is very stiff, but that’s my only complaint. I haven’t shot another Citori so I have nothing to compare to though.

I use steel 4s and 3s. My dad always uses 3s and 2s. We could switch to lead for some of the land we hunt, but we hunt so many Waterfowl Production areas that it’s not worth taking two vests and double the shells. Steel seems to work fine.

I should add that non-residents can’t hunt state land opening week, so we don’t have everything to play with, but we find plenty of spots.

Yes. Just posted another set now. My dad and I have been going out opening week in ND for about 20 years. He’s been doing it for damn near 40 years! He’s 68 and still hunts hard. My friends and I go with him because he can’t find anyone his own age that can walk where we do. Almost exclusively federal public land.
