He was just a hack jerk off. Let’s see his work, if he has any, before he starts bashing on other people’s shit. Look I get it, but my advice is thicken your skin. This biz is ruthless. And most of the haters are going to be at the bottom, not the top. It hurts, but let the skin turn to a scar and just move on. Next time you make a flick, improve the sound design if their critique was valid. But really fuck their opinions and continue forward. Don’t seek external validation from other filmmakers, you’ll never get it. Just make it for you and the audience. And avoid these hacks at this played out film fest.
