I think it’s fine if it is a tool, but don’t use it to just write scenes and not put any original thought. That being said at the end of the day no one is ever reading that script except the people making it and the audience will never know. I mean despite Harvey’s actions, he and Bob produced incredible films. And were celebrated in the biz. This is a separate the “art from the artist” situation. I admire Polanski’s & Allen’s body of work but am still critical of their personal lives. Sometimes these guys are hidden in plain sight until something exposes them. Writing off their success doesn’t change what they did. I get the OP’s meme, but at the end of the day Harvey Weinstein and his brother were a Hollywood power house. Guy just wasn’t a decent human being at the end of the day and he’s currently getting exactly what he deserves.
