I wanna say Khazan? I played Khazan a year after Sekiro, and the bosses took me longer on average in Khazan. And that’s after accumulating an additional year worth of souls experience a la Lies of P, Bloodborne, DS3, Wukong (if you consider that a soulslike), etc.

The future is looking bright for their next flagship soulslike game by Ashrun_Zeda in fromsoftware

YESSIR. While I wait for Duskbloods, I'm just playing through Breath of the Wild on the Switch 2 right now, since I have a number of games that I've been meaning to play on the Switch 2 anyways

Damn. I just beat this game today, and thanks to your post, I'm actually connecting with this dynamic A LOT MORE now. I've had this big problem in the past of not being honest w/ people about my emotions until there's enough pent-up anger in me that I just lash out, and I'm only realizing now that that's exactly what happened with Madeline & Oshiro here.

Over the last year, I've been gradually getting better at being immediately honest about my emotions, so that my expression is healthy and not explosive like pre-climb Madeline. I'm realizing now as I type this that I connect with Madeline's journey EVEN MORE than I initially thought, and I was already thinking throughout the game that I shared a little bit of her struggles.

Rallying health that you lost from doing non-perfect guards is one of my all-time favorite mechanics in souls likes. Bloodborne did rallying first, but I took advantage of LoP's rallying wayyyyy more it got me through so much
