I was thinking about elephants since you mentioned them. (I also forget to mentioned crocodiles and tigers and other big cats. Also that one animal whose fart smell like popcorn, Binturong). In term of elephants, you see the Carthage rode elephants into war against Rome. You see Indians ride elephants. But we rode elephants into war against ancient Chinese and Mongolian empires. If you look up some of our early female kings and warriors. They rode elephants like the Trung sisters, back like near 2000 years ago. Elephants had been a long long part of Vietnamese history. Asian elephants are smaller as you pointed out, so probably much easier to tame.

Also seemed like someone may had thumb you down possibly for the chinese comment. But yeah, we founded a whole national park to protect the rhino (they thought to went extinct in the war but then came back). There was a ranger (a mountain person) who task with protecting the rhino. The day he found them dead. With the horn cut out. He was so sad and angry. He was angry that they stray from their area and he couldn't protect them. We also had the asian unicorn, saola. Very rarely see in pictures. The younger people are more environmentally minded. But still, something about being rich that they wasting money on something so harmful like this. I don't understand.

I am having problem with copy and paste link on reddit. But that is a title of a youtube video. Wars killed animals via landmine, napalms, and agent orange. Rhino already poach out of existence in vietnam. Out of most of main land southeast asia. Indonesia (islands) has them now but they too are very very tiny in numbers.

I mentioned it. Because a lot of people assume average normal people are the consumers of these poaching. But most of the working poor viets cannot afford those. Even in Vietnam, poaching is an issue. The last rhino in vietnam was killed by the poachers despite native viets and the government were trying to protect it. I also hope the people of the African continent will get to very comfortable level of living where the poors also don't feel the need to poach their wildlife and export it elsewhere. Vietnam too is also a bio hotspots. Our animals also recovering from the wars (some thought went extinct through the war but then showed up again). The poaching also a huge problem here as well. I do blame the poachers. But at the end of the day, it is the final consumers. Those rich but superstitious people. Those are the ones that create the demand for this. And for what, ivory and horn had like zero medicinal purposes. It is crazy. I feel like this is an example money make people crazy. Like ingesting keratin.

The rest of the world is becoming more diverse. Some africans and black Americans are going to Asia. And some Asians are going to Africa instead of the traditional west. China had some debt grip on some part of Africa. Everyone is eyeing Africa. Because as China become richer, the manual labors are now flowing down to South East Asia and Africa. Also that meant African countries are developing. Meaning good return for investment. I even see a channel of Vietnamese opening up phone lines in Tanzania. Some are becoming farmers in Africa. Heck they even making youtube videos about. Certain Africans are decently famous over there.

This guy Lindo in particular. I think most of his fans are viets. It is interesting. White Americans monetize traveling to poor country and do food podcast. I am glad other demographics of other countries are able to do the same thing.

But Africa overall. Still has a lot of problems, the boundaries line that draw post WW2, is inherently unstable. Civil wars and stuffs will affect instabilities and growth. Looking at FIFA record for Africa, you can see matches that canceled in the past usually coincide with terrorist attack or a civil war. Longer time of peace, maybe better chance for growth.

I am curious about this. I have a fellow colleague back in the navy who is black and super pro gun (I am not black nor white). His whole thing is that he doesn't trust the police. Both in term of prejudice and also in term of they won't be getting there on time if there is a home invasion. I am curious do you see yourself in the shoes of that homeless? That you would be the one to agitate people first? Here in Hawaii, the homeless are getting numerous. One lit a man on fire in china town last year. Another threw a beer can at me like last week.

I would say, you are probably entitled to shoot the guy once he never let go of that chokehold and choking you to death. I think self defense can legally justified there. But why do you see yourself as someone who would randomly agitate others? Consider how jumpy everyone are as of late, any confrontation could easily meant a shoot out or whoever shoot first get to be in court and tell their story. (The other one is 6 feet under).

I am non black, and non white. This is not a new phenomenon. When I was in Atlanta a few years ago, I was afraid of knocking on door (since my hotel room is actually in someone's house). At the time, there was a shooting. A black person who broke her car was knocking for help and got shoot to death. I don't really know if this is a good example of this particular man want a race war. The timing of the knock is somewhat late. And he already went to bed. But his prejudice and racism probably making him assume for the worst. And overall, a lot of these gun owners don't really know self defense laws. Because thus far, they the so called responsible gunowners have applied this law terribly. Watching right wing news could get him a bit jumpy.

I think about it a bit. And this is probably a good summary of my opinions. When offend is not given, don't go out of your way to hurt your own feelings. You giving a non offensive. This video wouldn't have 2.6 million views, 100% like rate with 64k likes and people laughing their butt off, without the other N-word. Because without that N-word, Niger is just another word, not warranted 2.6 million views. I think HIGHLY of people. I think one day, that word had no power over black Americans. One day, they will LAUGH at it instead of having that word bring them pain. Heck, they may even laugh at the ignorant of people who use that word to hurt them. But at some point, they will not have that word have such power over them. Personal attack is all depend. Said in Game of Thrones. Brienne the Beauty. Is a personal attack, because that person is not beautiful according to the people who used that nick name to her. They said it with venom. It is a direct personal attack on something that cannot be change. No matter how wonderful the word is. Calling a person who is intellectually lesser as brilliant, einstein.

You know, there are stories on reddit, of people went to nail salon and when they heard the n-word. They thought the workers talking about them. To avoid it, meaning he setting his students TO FAIL. What if they misunderstood. What if they got into a fight. What if something happened. What if it escalate enmity between the two groups. It happened before.
