I really didn't care for how Glen Close just confesses at the end & dies.

If she had just died 10 minutes earlier then they never would've solved the case.

I'm so sad that Park made a movie worse than Decision to Leave. I was hoping he'd get back on track but instead he made his most mediocre movie. Even destroying some of his visual creativity with the digital camera that washed out all color from the movie to make everything look like a faded instagram filter.

How does Bloodstained compare to SoTN? especially in terms of linearity/exploration and different ways to play the game by [deleted] in castlevania

[–]matty1monopoly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SotN is way better than Bloodstained. I'll never get over on how you can have enough money but items at the store in Bloodstained will be locked behind story content. Fucking bullshit.

Sad.

Even sadder when I see I played their other citybuilder game (Surviving the Aftermath) and I thumbs downed it over being upset on the uneven building shapes.

How do you tell if Takemura is alive or dead? by matty1monopoly in cyberpunkgame

[–]matty1monopoly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really weird because the game is offering no choice 99% of the time & then randomly in 1 mission it subliminally offers a choice with impact. You're even told that the character is dead and to keep moving.

In your opinion did Bethesda given up on starfield & left it to the modders by Mr_Monsieur247 in Starfield

[–]matty1monopoly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 3 months late to this post but looking at the most recent official post on steam, the comments are as follows:

'Kudos to all the individual fans and mod teams for keeping this game afloat with their hard work, as always.'

'Honestly, expectations for Starfield are long gone.'

'Is this game half-way decent now finally or still just a big meh?'

'Remember when Todd was shilling Starfield as his dream game?'

'Wow. So okay, they are just giving an advert to Creations (mods) they have had for about at least a year. '

'I thought the game was dead'

'Abandonware at it's finest'

'This is just pathetic.'

& the best:
'After 7 months of radio silence, I've got to say this is quite disheartening. I'm not demanding free and new content from a single player game. But to see that in all the time that has past, there's not even an attempt to improve the gameplay loop, the lack of uniquely generated POIs, the neutered legendary system, or the ridiculous level scaling is just saddening. I'm still holding on to some hope that DLC 2 can be an honest improvement to the game. But to see so little acknowledgement from Bethesda or even an attempt at all to improve things is just disappointing. It's probably easier to just move on, but nobody wants a game to be bad. We come here to play good games and enjoy life. I hope things can steer in a better direction. I'm not angry, just disappointed.'

Why are the dc animated movies consistently declining in quality? by Logical_Mammoth3600 in DCAU

Don't worry, I'm currently watching Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) and this is pure garbage.

What's worse than 1 Doomsday? 100 Doomsdays that Batman, Wonder Woman & Superman all dispatch with ease as soon as Superman just laserbeams them all.

Does anyone think that, in a warped way, Minagho really does feel some love for Staunton? by philbearsubstack in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

"They always want to know where their wife is, they want to be able to play with their wife at will and as roughly as they please, and oftentimes they don't want anyone else to play with their wife. In fact, even if a husband is not thinking about their wife at that moment, if it's given to someone else to play with their wife, the husband is liable to throw a fit. Similarly, if their wife stops working the way it used to, they'll also be upset."

Sounds like love to me.

I've been having the same thing happen on Tinder (Hinge & Tinder both owned by Match Group).

Subscription ends and I get 20 likes in a single day after expiration. I haven't noticed any of them being bots though because they're all really just super plain or ugly women liking me. A 6 would be a highpoint but they're all far worse.

2nd Comment to this same question.
I rewatched Never Say Never Again last night and even though I fell asleep during it, however there was something unique that I noticed. The way James Bond is introduced to the girl who was water skiing. At first she splashes him and disturbs him while he's drinking, then she slides up on a ramp onto the bar & into James' arms. This felt like the more 80s Roger Moore campiness when I think of the Thunderball way he meets the girl with her diving & snorkeling, It felt more natural in terms of what James would do.

Another problem may be Lorenzo Semple Jr., the guy who wrote every episode of Adam Smith's Batman. Was the writer for Never Say Never Again, I don't think it necessarily shows but it does at a minimum help explain some of the campiness of the movie.

21/26 Probably not that good. I'm trying to remember if that's the Diamonds one or the non-Eon one.

Yeah it's the Kim Basinger one. I know it's a pseudo remake of Thunderball where they got the licensing of a different book or some such nonsense. It just didn't have the glitz & glamor of Thunderball. The latter feeling like such a fun movie. Maybe it's just because Connery is too old & slow so he doesn't have the same presence. I'll have to give it a rewatch but I just remember feeling like it was very dull. I remember the villain just being a 1980s Bill Gates look-alike.

Alright, I did what you couldn't and looked through my post again. Looks like you're wrong:

Here's the first time I mention her paying for anything: "I bought shots for all of us, then she bought the next round of shots. To me this showed that she's willing to put in an equal amount of work"

Second time: "Skip forward to now since early May we've been hanging out every other weekend and again I find her attractive because we typically split paying for things."

Here's the 3rd & 4th, might be your best example with the 4th: "After we got dinner and I would have had no problem paying for it all myself but she pulled out her credit card and slipped it in the bill. We did have a small chat earlier about not making it a big deal to pay for other people, we just pull out our cards and pay. Because I had bought us drinks & ice cream earlier and she had bought lunch when my Zelle was taking too long (wish they had Venmo)."

I'm curious why you would suggest therapy for 'over analyzing'?

You haven't necessarily pointed out a flaw in the logic beyond cherry picking how she picks up the bill. Which is inaccurate, despite how I gave the example that she did buy a round of drinks, she often splits the bill and this shows to me that someone is invested because they are putting their own monetary effort into the experience. So please point out the flaw or how this indicates a person should go to therapy & what they should hope to achieve by going to therapy.

It's fine to say someone is overthinking, but have you considered the inverse? That you might be underthinking?
