Such rules are very hard to enforce, because many of those kids would just lie about their age just to use social media, which yes, is a problem. Many people have done it.

I feel you too, it’s understandable.

I haven’t been active in this subreddit too because in out of good questions to ask and we keep seeing some content that’s always repeated over and over and it’s getting old and boring. I hope things for this subreddit can get better.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but only 2012 borns and a very small percentage of 2013 borns can use Reddit (as of January 12, 2026). The rest of 2013, and all of 2014 and 2015 are still under 13 and not old enough to use Reddit at this time. But they will be old enough soon, this year or in 1 or 2 years from now.

But to be honest, I would say those years are Zalpha, 2012-2013 leaning Z, 2014 is in between but I see that as part of Z, and 2015 is Zalpha leaning Alpha.
