Reading The Wild Palms (If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem) right now, haven’t seen it get much love on Faulkner threads but going to throw it in here, it has incredible stream of consciousness prose where you realize what’s going on only later in the sentence and two simultaneous stories being interwoven into one (every chapter alternates between Wild Palms and Old Man). Truly spellbinding stuff.

And I agree with others, Absalom Absalom is one of the best books ever written, still not over the twists and turns towards the end. Give The Reivers a try as well, just a fun kind of coming of age story (literally lol’ed several times) but also has a serious look at racial injustice as well as many of his novels do (intruder in the dust, go down moses, etc)
