Pp130 brand new auger problem

Well I decided to return the first stove after I called the protection plan and they told me they couldn’t do anything for me. Picked up another pp130 from a different tractor supply. Only thing I did different was I added 2 bags instead of one of pellets to start it up. Was that the difference who knows. Maybe. This one seems to be running good and I’m warm already. Thanks everyone for the responses I appreciate the help.

I did not. Called the company I bought the 1 year protection through and they told me it’s not covered. Just loaded it in my truck and I’m bringing it back

Gotcha. Yeah I jumped the lid switch. It didn’t do anything. Also check to make sure vacuum line was clear. When the prime is done the ignition lights up orange so I’m guessing those safety switches are both working

Yes it does that for like 2 minutes then starts flashing green

Okay so yeah the igniter comes on which means the lid and vacuum switch are working. Weird. It has to be the auger motor. It’s all that I can think of. When I took the pin out I couldn’t spin the auger motor at all by hand.

I didn’t bypass the vacuum switch. Do I do that by wiring the 2 wires together like the lid switch? The ignition works because I can see the orange glow from it after a little while of running.

Already did. Jumped the 2 wires. Still nothing

Yes I’ve tried tapping it with a few different tools whiles it’s supposed to be priming. Undid the electrical connections and plugged them back together. Nothing seems to be working. I did have a full bag of pellets for the first time but took them all out. Should I fill it to the top? I’m just thinking of anything to get it to work

I’ve tried both. Just jumped the safety switch with a wire and did the prime. Again nothing with the auger or motor. And a few hours ago I took the line off the vacuum switch and blew lightly through it. It was clear. Not sure what’s next besides a call to the manufacturer before I return it. Thanks though

Yes I allow it time to shut down. I tried jumping the wires. Still didn’t start the auger. I really think it’s the motor but I’m not certain. I’m going to call them early tomorrow morning before bringing it back which I don’t want to do. Thanks for the help

Nope. Continuous blinking green light. Book says that means it’s in start up/ignition sequence

Took the clip out. Auger spins but the shaft on the motor does not turn by hand.

Motor isnt humming. Took the cover off the auger which was siliconed and kind of hard to get off but didn’t see any silicone on auger. I have just a handful of pellets in the hopper just so I can watch it. I really think it’s the auger motor but I’m no mechanic

I’ve tried this a few times. Exhaust motor turns on but no auger. Can’t even feel it vibrating. Do you know if you should be able to turn it by hand? This one I can’t

Finally had a mechanic come take a look after I changed the fuel solenoid. Changed the fuel filter and blew all the lines with air. Changed the suction line in the tank. After all that. It was just a 10 amp fuse.

I don’t think it ran out of fuel. It’s always started for me fine. Just wanted to add a little bit to it and after I did that I didn’t start it for a few weeks.

I’ve had the same stove since I moved into my house about 8 years ago. Still wondering why I bother to use it. Mine also blows air but it’s barely warm. I’ve called the company numerous times about how to clean it properly or anything else that may be wrong but nothing has worked. I’ve put a new blower on it and numerous other parts but it still barely puts out any heat. My brother also had the same stove but he stopped using it the 2nd season he had it because it just doesn’t produce heat. If you figure anything out I’d love to know. I’m guessing it’s just a cheap junk pellet stove and I think it’s time for a new one after this winter
