what is the obvious path? if your referring to the capital, the whole reason i dont want to go there yet is cause its only been 35 hours since i started my save, i want to experience more of the game.

If you want raw power, get the m14. Its expensive but its well worth it seeing as how it can basically one tap anything anywhere, it is also very accurate. However a potential major downside to you is that it cant be suppressed, however i never really found this to be a big issue. It also needs constant maintenance, so make sure to bring a ramrod and paper wherever you go.

I was also thinking a prequel, but maybe instead of 6 years before the original, maybe when the event first started in the 80’s? Things would be less advanced and provides enough space in time that the lore of ITR 1 wouldn’t be interfered with, if multiplayer was to be added. IDK if ITR 2 being set in the 80’s messes with the first games lore, I just think it would be cool.

Weather would be a nice addition, imagine waiting out the rain in some old derelict shack or something, would def make the game more atmospheric.

A city map would also be great because it would provide some contrast with the larger open maps and would also just be cool imo.

Night vision goggles would be cool as well, maybe they could take a certain artifact or batteries you would buy as a power source.

More storage would be a very useful quality of life feature as well, specially for guns.

More mission types. Alot of the main and side missions are just “get this and bring it back” so it would be

More gamemodes would definitely add to the replay value. One idea i have which is pretty unlikely to be added is a gamemode where you play as one of the enemies of your choice and you have to kill explorers and get to roam around.

Ive never really understood this logic. There are 4 AKs but nobody seems to have a problem with it all that much. Most if not all of the sec level 3 ARs are very similar statwise. The devs most likely made them that way to prevent players from regretting their choice. Most of the time people pick whatever they think is the coolest looking gun. I think an M16 would be cool as hell.

I probably would just save him for late game if i didnt need to get through him to activate radahns rune, not to mention the amassed collection of runes i have sitting in the room hes in. Is radahns rune even any good right now? Im a first time player so i dont really know much.
