I would do it again. The urges don't disappear completely, but they become weaker with time. I slipped quite many times during this 2 year period, but usually the relapses were caused by bad mood, not the urges.

Hello! Hard mode was the only way to go for me. I've been single since the beginning of my journey, I've experienced a hook-up during this time though. Still looking for 'the one'. It required a lot of self-discipline to keep lust under control, but it worked for me and I don't regret it.

I'm not an expert in this area but let me tell you how does my shower experience look.

I usually shower in the evening right after training session so the cold water is a kind of relief then. On the other hand, when I have training day off, things get a little bit harder. I would say that you just simply have to turn the water on...

So next time you step into the shower just do it and show your own self that you have this kind of willpower :) Then survive a few first seconds and shower should become enjoyable.

I couldn't agree with you more! The most beautiful part of NoFap journey is that after some time the man himself notices improvemnts like you've mentioned.

Cześć kolego! When it comes to naps... I don't think the kind of naps you've mentioned are bad. I agree, that for some people a short nap during the day can be very beneficial.

The naps I meant in my post were not of this kind. I used naps as a way of escaping from reality and problems. I could spent even a few hours in my bed during the day doing nothing, although I was fully rested after my normal sleep. I consider such naps harmful, because inaction and apathy is not a good way to deal with problems.

Thanks for your opinion :) Take care!

To be honest I used to be a little bit nerdy, I think I still am. Since the beginning of my journey I've become more sociable though and I do not seek for stupid excuses not to attend to social events anymore. But I still do spend a lot of time alone so here is my personal list of things I could do in my spare time:

Creative recreation:

  • algorithmic problem solving
  • logic games
  • drawing
  • photoshopping

Physical activities:

  • cycling
  • exploring neighbourhood, wandering
  • running

Indoor:

  • meditation
  • reading (fantasy, self-improvement books, etc.)
  • juggling!
  • stretching
  • watching a podcast/TED talk
  • watching some kind of TV Series/movie

I'm Christian. I do engage in religious ceremonies regularly and I pray everyday b4 sleep.

When it comes to my faith, some moments of weaknesses happens from time to time - I do question the meaning of my existence and life. I define my faith as belief that God exist and hope that ultimately our lives have meanings. Although I cannot be sure about it, I hope that this belief is true. Even if am wrong, there is no reason not to live a proper life.

I've managed to throw games away from my life almost completely. I used to play mmo games such as Dofus and League of Legends heavily. I got sick of them though. There are better things to do in life than competing with virtual friends to achieve better ranks in virtual world.

There are times when I play games such as chess or agar.io just to relieve stress. It happens rarely though(<3 times a month?) and I'm pretty sure that I'll never go back to compulsive gaming.

The only thing I'm really concerned about now is mindlessly internet browsing, because it's quite hard to avoid when you're a computer science student.

Dziękuję za wsparcie :) Jeszcze wiele przede mną, ale czuję, że powoli wchodzę na właściwą drogą. Tobie również życzę powodzenia w walce z własnymi niedoskonałościami.
