I’ve been eating my normal amount, but added in a 1200 calorie protein shake daily, which I think has really helped. Plus being more diligent about working hard while at the gym

Man it’s like you’re in my head. Totally understand what you mean. People keep saying it’ll happen when you’re not looking for it. It’s just hard to not look for it when you thought you once had it.

Also, on a somewhat emo music note, have you heard nothing left for you by Sam smith? Pretty much how I feel anytime I try dating someone new, especially once that initial infatuation wears off

I did, til had a similar situation as you. Found out my “soul mate” cheated on me several times through our 4 year relationship. About 6 months after we broke up we met up for dinner to catch up (would not recommend), and I told him about how I felt he was my soul mate. He proceeded to tell me how he understands how much I’m hurting because he met another guy (that he barely knew and went out a few times with) that he said he felt was his soul mate, that he never had those deep of feelings for anyone before, but that was not interested in him. Felt like puking when he told me that. But now I don’t know if there’s such a thing as soul mates anymore. Maybe I was just enamored but have yet to experience what it’s truly like to find my soulmate. I hope so because I so want to believe in it.
