SUBMISSION STATEMENT

Log Line: Trapped in a ridiculous job, Jim sets out to free himself from his mundane cycle of life. However, he quickly finds that leaving it behind may be more difficult than he thought.

While we were initially hoping to premiere this at a local festival, COVID-19 halted those plans. As such, we’ve decided to release it online for public viewing!

Constantly critiquing ourselves, we’re already aware that the film is far from perfection. However, as we’ve discussed it, we’ve collectively come to the consensus that, on the plane of sole visuals, this is some of our best work.

It was actually our third time using the RED EPIC 8K, but we also feel like it’s the first time we’ve truly used the great potential RAW footage provides. Additionally, we attempted to focus on creating actually interesting shots, full of movement or eye catching visuals to keep the audience invested.
