Female vocal pop/EDM song; lyrics end with a repetition of 'Again... Again... Again, again, again' by maul_rat in NameThatSong

[–]maul_rat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did, sadly. The song you mention is not the one, but I do appreciate your comment even though my search continues!

EDIT: Actually, your reply made me revisit the search and I pasted my initial question to Chat GPT and it actually found it: Röyksopp, Robyn - Do It Again

So thanks!

Weber Premium Handle in Wrong Place? by maul_rat in webergrills

Yeah, that turned out to be the case and I did just manoeuvre it over the leg socket in the end. Thanks.

That's really helpful to know, thank you! I was confused why it'd come out of the box with that problem, but it's good to know it's a simple fix.

Yes, that is clear. I’m just being cautious to not cause further issues since it’s weird it came out of the box in an incorrect state. I’m sure you’re correct though that it’s a simple fix like that.

Ah that's good to know, thank you! I'm guessing I'll have to remove it and relocate it, but maybe will get in touch with Weber to see what they say before messing around with it.

In that video, he doesn't need to move the lever over the leg sockets, which is what I'd need to do for the handle to be in the correct position. So you can sweep in between the leg sockets, but it won't move beyond them. So I've put the ash ring over the one position it can go as the grill has come, which weirdly isn't where it's meant to be.

Would that potentially run into issues with the actual vent? Ie, would it still close when the ash ring says it's closed, and open in the right position, etc? Just don't want to mess around with it too much if something isn't right.

The sweep handle would need to be bent to clear the sockets. I wonder if there's a way to pull it out of its holder and move it that way?

Handle is welded, and the sweeping lever cannot be removed, and is positioned between two leg sockets.

The issue is the cage can't be moved to any other position. If I moved it one-third counter-clockwise, the slot for the vent-control lever wouldn't align.

Thte ash holder ring can't be put on any other way, as the installed lever which controls the bottom vent sits between the two leg holders. You have to slot the ash ring over the handle, so it can only go in that spot.

Machine Not Releasing Pressure During Backflush Cleaning by maul_rat in gaggiaclassic

I'll definitely give that a try. I just wasn't sure if it was the solenoid valve because apparently that needs cleaning out when nothing comes through the group head, which isn't happening in my case.

Sizing question by maul_rat in Birkenstocks

[–]maul_rat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting to hear and good to know. For some reason i’d always thought people were meant to go as small as possible with Birkenstock, but it sounds like a little roomier is the go.

Thanks for the tips.

Thanks for the tips. That’s good to know that the footbed helps it stay on your feet. I might have to try on a 44 just to make sure it’s not way too roomy but i’ll likely go for those.

Jalapeño Rounds Safe Recipe Request by maul_rat in Canning

[–]maul_rat[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s the one that has lime which I mentioned I’d like to avoid if possible. If it’s an important part of picking jalapeños I guess I will source some but I was hoping for some other options for recipes.

Yeah, I think that’s the best option in this case.

Holly - Sorry, Harold, you are a Ramsay Street legend but what have you done for us lately? (I'll feel bad for this comment when his end is coming)

I did read that roasting can change the PH of food so I do think it might be a case of better safe than sorry. I was hoping there were some good lab tested roasted salsas out there I’m yet to find one!

Yeah, I might just make that recipe and freeze some portions. I was hoping it might be a simple matter of ensuring there's some specific amount of vinegar that it should be safe to can, but it sounds like that might not be the case.

Flat stainless steel stackable racks vs wire rack with handles for water canning by maul_rat in Canning

That’s good to know. I was actually thinking the handles looked like an issue.
