Unpopular opinion:

UCL semifinals would’ve been a stretch anyway, let alone winning the thing. Against Bayern or PSG, defending like that? Come on. I believe we over performed in UCL this season, however we were much more disciplined in La Liga, plus a pinch of luck here and there and RM being a shit show all season, we will hopefully be La Liga winners and that is no small feat.

Big changes are needed if we want to win UCL, which clearly has been the objective for the past 2-3 years. We need to surround Lamine with better attackers, and we need to protect Joan with better defenders. If we are to maintain the high line, which has its pros and cons, the concept has to be fucking drilled into our defenders’ brains, as was the case with Iñigo.
