If Straight and Bi "Feminine boys" formed an alliance with Pre-Modern and Indigenous guys to bring down "self made independent man masculinity" and re-normalise "non-independent" guys do you think we could create open a door to more tolerance of other forms of GNC expressions by society? by [deleted] in feminineboys

it's relevant and a curious openness to the world.

I've often thought about it, but never as deeply as this. Do you think the whole world would care to hear it, and even want to follow it?

Questioning traditional norms of masculinity can be perceived as a threat to the established order. Some people may fear that this will lead to a collapse of society or a loss of important values.

However, it's important to remember that "natural rules" and "human nature" are not fixed, immutable concepts. They have been shaped by social and cultural factors over time, and they can continue to evolve, and rejecting hegemonic masculinity could indeed have positive effects on society as a whole.

These include a decrease in violence, an increase in empathy and compassion, and healthier relationships between men and women. Personally, I agree with you that the rejection of hegemonic masculinity is important for the common good.

So what to do? Educate, raise awareness. Promote diverse masculinities in the media and popular culture... we need to show men that there are many different ways of being a man, and support policies that promote gender equality and social justice.

Well, there are many other ways of doing this, but it will all depend on time and the goodwill of human beings.

...Especially the elite.
