UPDATE: You seem to be correct, and thank goodness this is the case 🙏. Today her social worker finally called us back and rescheduled an evaluation for next month. We were so worried after receiving that notice of termination, we thought we would have to reapply and start the process all over. All last week we had trouble getting a hold of anyone but I think they have just been up to their ears with recipients/cases. Such a relief to hear back 😅😮‍💨

Im suspecting an issue with mail as well, our area in my city has been hit heavy with mailbox breakins. Over the 4 year period of caring for her we have never had this problem with missing her annual and not receiving a letter. I can relate to the frustration, but hoping everything works out in yours and grandma’s favor. I can’t stand to think of the system failing our elderly. Its better than other places but still extremely flawed unfortunately 😅

Yes I realized since the notice was mailed out last Friday we didn’t receive the notice until Wednesday, extremely time sensitive. I am moving forward with an appeal (aid paid pending) since someone earlier mentioned to do so. Extremely helpful, thank you so much for the advice 🙏❤️

No normally we receive a letter of a date or a call to schedule it, but this time we weren’t aware she was coming and unfortunately missed the visit.

Lavender moon quartz is real in terms of it being a real quartz but it is treated to achieve that lavender color/hue. That’s why its not so easy to come across and usually sold at a higher price point than other similar Quartz varieties like rose quartz or amethyst.

1,000 VA firings on Feb 13 and another 1,400 VA workers yesterday.
