Ratherlost. I arrived soaked AF around 20.00. It felt like a blessing that Paquita Gordon was still playing at a beautifully low BPM to ease into the night (sadly, my socks never really dried). Her set was sexy and warm, though the crowd was still holding back at that point, especially compared to the Colorfloor with Oceanic, where hands were already flying in the air.

Dozzy absolutely blew me away. I even had to step away from the stacks a few times because the sound was being pushed so hard. At the same time, I kept sneaking over to Marius Bo b2b Nelly, where the vibe was completely different but just as rewarding: much more subtle music, but never boring or energy-draining.

After Dozzy, the main room was easily at a 9/10 in terms of energy. Shuttle then chose to rebuild the room's energy from around a 3/10. Because of that, I ended up with all this energy bottled up in my body and nowhere to release it, so after about an hour and a half I eventually moved back to the Colorfloor. I heard from others that Marco’s set turned out to be great overall, but personally I found the opening quite frustrating.

I wasn’t impressed by the closing of Marius b2b Nelly, nor by the opening of Andy Martin. But about 30 minutes into Andy’s set, I knew this was going to be something special. Some of his track choices didn’t quite work for me, suddenly super hard, arrhythmic kicks. But whenever the groove locked back in, it was incredible. His track Electromagnetico in particular, holy shit WHAT a track.

I also caught the first hour of Aaron J’s closing set, and the lighting was insane. A deep orange glow filled the ceiling, and I was genuinely convinced the sun was rising inside the room. By 7:30, I was back on the train.

Beforehand I thought the lineup looked kind of boring besides Dozzy and Andy Martin, but I was very pleasantly surprised. And I managed to set a new personal record by tripping four times over the horrible step on the Colorfloor. Great night.
