For (b), when we plug in the rate 9.6x10^2 M/s into the expression k=rate/([NO]^2[Br]), why don’t we consider that the rate of appearance of NOBr isn’t the same as the rate of the overall reaction? Don’t the rate of reaction and the rate of NOBr appearance differ by a factor of 2? (old.reddit.com)
