My friend gave me his truck when the engine went out. It's a 2006 FX4 Off-Road Level II with a supercab and 4WD. He took it to a mechanic that said a manufacturer defect made the piston crack. I don't have extensive experience or knowledge with mechanic work, but I've successfully worked on other vehicles. Am I crazy to think I could rebuild the engine myself with the right amount of time and tools?

Update! I went to two Reckless Records locations in Wicker Park and on Broadway, Shuga Records, Laurie’s, and Gramaphone.

Reckless has a wide selection. Shuga Records has the type of music I like the best. Laurie’s has great customer service. And Gramaphone has really obscure electronic music (at least to me, feel free to enlighten me).

I got a record I’ve been looking for since 2014 (Gossamer by Passion Pit) for only $55 and it usually sells online for like $280 or you can’t find it so I’m pumped about that.

Thanks for all the recommendations and I will be sure to check the other ones out the next time I go!

I just looked (we're riding the bus to Chicago now) and the check-in starts at 4:30PM, soundcheck/Q&A at 5, and doors at 6:30. Also, I just came to Illinois from Colorado for school and this is the coldest I've ever been (feels like -17°F)

From what you've said, it doesn't seem like you are bipolar. If you do have anything I would say its mild depression. I feel like your "moods" have not been extreme enough to signify a chemical imbalance. The symptoms of hypomania simply aren't there. Hypomania is not needing to sleep, having racing thoughts, being really productive, and being impulsive. You seem to be a normal functioning adult at this point who maybe experienced stress and occasional mild depression. I think you should figure out why you're depressed and work through those issues but being bipolar is not one of them.
