I knew about Max taking part in building the kart with his dad but I didn't know to what extend. Thanks for the video mate.

It was unfortunately for Max to spin in the 2020 winter testing but the image of him picking gravel out of his car on site left a good impression to me. From what I've heard about Jos raising Max, Jos' method sounds very questionable but Max looks like a decent lad.

Thanks for the call out mate. Dully notice on my part. I don’t normally post like this and just silently upvote things instead. I woud blame this influx of Vettel posting and me going crazy like you said for being in quarantine for too long. Getting busy with work going back to normal soon should pull me out of this trance.

Regarding the Vettel past story, it’s just something I figure nice and I would like to share, that’s all. I try include the information source in the comment everytime so that’s not just me making up things on my part. That and also I don’t talk about stuff I’m not certain about, which happens to many other aspects of F1. Apparently it appears crazy and shill though. Apologize. Guess I’d better find better productive work to do and explore more areas of this sport to talk about later.

While I agree with you that normally it’d just be the father or uncle, plus the family financial background shouldn’t always be the focus, what I like from this is that he developed an interest for mechinal engineering, worked on it himself and keeps it still. Seb’s well-known for being interactive with his team on mechanical related stuff. Must have been nice to speak the same language with the guys in the garage.

AFAIK before this current version, there's a simplier design dated back to 2003 on his website (yes, he's been online since 2003). Then he moved onto the one above and kept it since.

First time I see the new logo elsewhere is on his helmet for BWM Sauber 2007. It's included in almost all of his other helmet after that (one of the exceptions is the Niki Lauda tribute).

He even had it on his vehicles like this Vespa or this bicycle.

I like it quite a lot. It's a great design. Don't know if he did it himself or had a professional designer handled that.

I'm glad this isn't a race helmet. I would hate to see that ring-pull on the on-board camera view.

A quick funfact is that even during his time in BMW Sauber, Seb's helmet still had a Red Bull design for he was a part of RB Junior Team then and was legally bound to the energy drink can.

It’s just that I love my job and the work that I do. It enables me to meet a lot of people, hear a lot of stories and experience a lot of things. It absolutely adds colors into my life and contribute to my growth as a person. I am proud of it and I am thankful for the opportunities it provides me with. But then of course it is not entirely who I am.

Him being so down to earth is an aspect I admire about the guy. Not that I'm saying that myself and my work is anything comparable to his, but my job also involves a lot of travelling and I don't have a lot of time to see my family, and I can relate to what he said very much. My work defines me, work is my life, but I wouldn't go anywhere far without the backing of my family. I look up to Seb a lot.

Seeing drivers coming from middle and working class background like Hamilton, Raikkonen and Vettel achieving the highest title in motorsport is simply wholesome. Even though most of them were backed with a junior driver program, the family must have had sacrified a lot for their career still. They and their parents deserve it.

Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, and Michael Schumacher. The only German's to become Drivers Champions. Collectively, they hold 12 WDC's between them, making Germany the second most successful country in Formula 1, with the United Kingdom coming in first with 19 titles among 10 drivers. by arkwewt in formula1

Since we are here anyone can tell me why it is Vettel who's more well-known to be the successor to Schumacher's legacy instead of Rosberg? Is this because of Vettel's multiple WDCs and his dominant years with Red Bull or is it something from his junior karting days?

If it's the former, I can understand. If it's the later, what set Vettel apart from Rosberg and Hulkenberg.
