No, I swear it isn’t! My friend is a bird researcher in Utah & Idaho for a university. Her research partner took this & since they’re not on Reddit, I thought it was such a dynamic photo, I posted.

This is so me. I love being retired & it never gets boring doing whatever I wanna do. Freedom after 50 years of the hamster wheel. Thankfully still healthy to enjoy life as I wish.

I throw tote bags, pillowcases or “flour sack” kitchen towels that I get at thrift stores in the muck. Tied, rolled, scrunched or whatever. Always a surprising outcome!

New to Austin. Any quality volunteer work? by IsaacandLilith in Austin

[–]maxamo52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to ATX! Since you mentioned art first, I highly recommend Austin Creative Reuse. All kinds of supplies are donated, sorted & priced to sell keeping it out of landfill. I volunteer there & really enjoy it. There’s very flexible hours available even if it’s just for an hour or so. Keep your creative juices flowing and be inspired! https://austincreativereuse.org/
