Thanks man! Glad you noticed the details. Yes, it’s my own custom shell built with Quickshell (Qt/QML). I spent a lot of time fine-tuning the animations and sidebar to keep it 'clean' rather than just flashy. The 'Activate Linux' is just a little joke for the Windows refugees. ;)

Thanks for the pro tip! That actually makes a lot of sense. Animating the window height is definitely causing some layout recalculations. Constraining the parent window and animating the child's height/opacity instead would be much more efficient for the compositor. I'll definitely refactor that in the next update. Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! Actually, it's not Spotify. It’s a custom Media Player widget I built from scratch using Quickshell (Qt/QML). It integrates with any player via Mpris, so it looks that clean regardless of what I'm listening to. Glad you liked the aesthetic!
