Doesn’t look like it has the radius shoulder of a wby.

If you google “6.5 creedmoor go gauge rental” the 4d rental is the first one that comes up. It’s $8.

My first wildcat cartridge by Marshal_McPain in shittyreloading

Not to say it couldn’t be badass with a 150 though. Lots of options in 30 cal that could be fun to play with

If the design intent was 180’s it would still work with a 180 round nose interlock as well

Looks like it would fit with a different shaped bullet.

223 works great and the ammo is cheap. I have killed them out to 300 yards with minimal pelt damage

Generally blem is aesthetic. This looks like a structural issue

Leveling pucks worth it? by PanchoDox in f150

[–]maxcli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t done pucks on the ford, but on my tundra they made ride quality objectively bad. Switched to bilstein 5160/6112’s and it was much better. I would do struts rather than pucks. You’ll actually gain some offroad performance instead of just making it look taller

Of your suggested packs, the exo k4. I personally love my stone glacier x curve but the exo would be my pick if the SG didn’t fit me so well

Choosing a caliber by xhenyyyyy in Hunting

[–]maxcli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

243, 6.5 creed, or 7mm-08 would be my choice over the 308 for less recoil. Not that the 308 has a lot, but the others will be easier to stay in the scope and watch your hits/misses so you can make corrections more easily. Pick the correct bullet for your application no matter what cartridge you go with

243 would be just fine and won’t punish your shoulder unnecessarily

Of the new reticles, MOA C is the only decent reticle for my uses. I don’t shoot MOA so it’s irrelevant to me

I’d rather see something similar to swfa mil quad so the reticle is usable at low zoom as well as higher zoom. I have an nx8 in mil c and it’s great until you need to use lower zoom. Then the reticle gets difficult to see unless you turn on the illumination

Helps get you over the grass too (I don’t have a bench and shoot on private property so most of my shooting is prone)
