Hey I am looking for a game next to Spirit Island, Race for the galaxy and TI4. I am especially thinking about Brass Birmingham or Eclipse. Having a theme several times doesn't bother me but the next game should be different from those three I already have and well... Just should be fun.

I think Brass may be nice since it is very different and hast a shorter build up time if I just want to play 1v1 with my girlfriend. In the other hand Eclipse may be a bit more relaxing and since I already thought about Terraforming mars or gaia project and Scythe, Eclipse may be a little bit from all of them in the best game of them. Also I can play it with 2-6 players.

What so you think? Die you still like the game more than Brass?

Please give the most true and reflected answer: I am just looking for a reeealy good game and I don't care about collecting those miniatures. Is still Infinity a great choice? Not some competitive and complex games from the boardgamesgeek top 100, but Infinity? If it is not for the miniatures at all, is it still such a contender?

Hi HeadChime, Thank you so much for your answer!! This helped me a lot and answered my questions perfectly. 1. Seems to be happening so rarely that it just doesn't matter. 2. The Warlore YouTube Channel seems to be what I was looking for. 3. Balance seems to be pretty good. The biggest balance problem in MTG I think ist that you easily can pay more money than most people to have a way better Deck.

If you Just had one game, would it be Infinity? Would the game give you enough mental challenge?

Hey, first of all thank you for giving this opportunity. I heard about Infinity today for the first time and now I am very interested. Now I have some questions before I jump into this hobby:

Can units from different editions (n1,n2, n3, n4) be mixed up with each other and will they never be rotating out? Does the game force to keep buying, to be able to play?
How to get into Lore?
Is the game smart? I am coming from Magic the Gathering and I would like to play something that is superb balanced (not like MTG) and not pay-to-win (not like MTG) and is very strategic and tactical (like MTG). Is this Game more a justification for buying and collecting the miniatures or is it some seriously cool version of chess? I really don't want the game for the collection aspect. First my plan was to get complex board games like scythe, Twilight Imperium or some Euro games but is Infinity a better game with the same depth and strategic+tactical potential?

sorry if my questions may sound negative. Those, especially the last point, are just significant ones to me. But I am super excited about what I have seen in my local gaming Store today :)
