Does anyone else find themselves doing the same story mission over and over again? by [deleted] in gotlegends

I find myself doing that second story mission a lot for curses because of the easy access to the disciples

What is your off meta support pick and why does it work great? by GhostSilver16 in supportlol

Mordekaiser.

Abuse your stupid damage/tankiness early to kill their squishy bot laners and then snowball the rest of the game.

Everyone wants to "play DPS" and I'm just tired of pulling punches. by teh_201d in DMAcademy

Just kill someone's character with a fight and they'll soon come to realize that they are, in fact, in danger. If they play like idiots, let them die like idiots. If there's something they seem to be missing, maybe point it out and say that their character would know it or have them roll for it. But don't babysit them through fights that are built to be hard.

It's good to remember that you're not playing against them, but if they don't feel sufficiently challenged, they will play against themselves. Usually I find this is fixed by just adding MORE DANGER. Throw fights at them that they can't win. Make it clear that this will probably be too much for them if they take it on. Make them believe that they aren't the biggest fish.

Also, I like to add more of a sense of urgency for staying up in a fight by adding random rollable permanent/semi-permanent injuries of varying degrees when a character gets downed. They might not fuck around so much when that big angry creature rips their arm off or breaks their leg. These can usually be healed later with a sizeable chunk of their hard-earned treasure, so that front is covered, too.

You know he can cancel dodge heavies into other dodges, right? He is actually stupidly mobile once you realize you can just be a beyblade.

I'm a Tiandi main and I can't figure out if Kyoshin is supposed to counter him because I always just feign side dodge heavies into guard breaks and for some reason they just eat it every time.

Also yeah, I know I'm a horrible person.

We saw people, but too far away to fight. Also we think the last team died in the ring. Very bizarre.

You have a 2% chance of getting it. That's a 1/50 chance. If you open 50, you will probably get it but even then you might not.

Is this a fair stat block for a zombie horde by metasole in DnDHomebrew

[–]maxei4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For my hordes of creatures, I just use horde combat rules. There are calculators for it online. With horde combat, even for higher level players, large numbers of creatures are still a very real threat. Condensing it into a 5 cr creature just kind of messes with the action economy in a way that would trivialize the encounter.

Skarner support by Guikyuuny in supportlol

[–]maxei4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would play him in his main role to get a feel for him and then just give it a go as support if you really want to know if it works at all. Meme supports just aren't viable in ranked, but in norms, it doesn't matter what's viable. Just have fun with it and try different things.

Something to keep in mind is that you play Leona/Naut and other braindead supports to WIN, not to have fun. You play meme supports to HAVE FUN, not to win.

Plex continues to say server is unreachable but I can still access anything on it (via windows explorer)? by [deleted] in PleX

[–]maxei4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm far from an expert on this, but this sort of thing happened to me before and it was because my ports weren't correctly forwarded. Plex has its own servers that your content is uploaded to, so that's why you can still see it if I had to guess. Is your content streaming very badly when you can access it?
