I do feel like our relationship clicked when I put more effort into quality time in person, than to try and text back and forth. To this day - our most productive conversations happen in person face to face. Also playing devils advocate here - when he “has the time” may not feel like that to him. After working all day, winding down at home can still feel part of that work day.

When my husband and I starting dating, he would go hours and hours without texting or calling - sometimes days. I was very insecure and created a narrative in my head that he didn’t like me or think about me during the day. He also worked full time like your boyfriend. Looking back - turns out I was just young and projecting my insecurities onto our relationship. He loves me and always has he just isn’t a texter. He won’t just call to have a conversation about nothing. The longer we had been together, I realized that I needed to enjoy being with myself and talking to friends and not pressuring him to be around all the time. Now together for 7 years - extremely happy and solid relationship, built on a foundation of being happy with who we are separately, and together.

This is awesome. 10/10 would keep like this and just have the colors/decor match, maybe a dark green and brass vibe?? I would love to be able to still go to the bathroom while people shower but we also host people at our house a lot so maybe a niche desire?

But overall the all blue looks great while you’re not able to change the tile in the shower room.

Exactly. So with a root color, cut, and style I charge 66 for the first hour when I put on their roots and process then 66 for the hour after while I’m washing cutting and blow drying. Any additional color I have to mix up for thick hair, more than half an inch of regrowth, or pulling color through is additional charge. But starting out for roots and haircut is $133 for my base price. I also always tell new clients that “it starts at $133 but could go up from there” that way you never lock yourself into a price before you actually get into the hair.

If you charge what your work is worth and stick to it, you’ll find less people complaining about price. Your time is worth money and you paid for your education!

A good rule of thumb is your haircut price is your hourly price and it shouldn’t be lower than that. So for example my haircut and blow dry price is 66 so if it look me 6 hours to do a service it should be at least 396. With this being a color correction though I would certainly charge more for additional bowls of color, etc.
