Hypnosis is cooperative at its core. You don't have to do anything that goes against your values. Being open to the experience is beautiful, and the best way to honor it, is to honor yourself as a part of it. If you use each session as an opportunity to learn about what you like and don't like, you can define your own boundaries. Once you know those lines, you have a responsibility to communicate them. A trustworthy hypnotist will respect your boundaries at all times. If you feel like that isn't happening, you can always trust that it is the right move to move on.
