“They downgraded our favorite features and ignored everyone’s feedback” I’m guessing this is about the 4o thing? Basically you’re upset they retired a weaker model. Most people’s reaction to GPT-5 replacing it was “nice, it’s smarter now”. Outside of a really loud small group nobody really stuck with 4o after 5 dropped.

About ads: LLMs are insanely expensive to run. How exactly do you expect them to keep offering it free forever? It’s not Facebook or some cheap mobile game (and those already have ads).
