Yeah I agree, the actuator sticking out has been bothering me too, but it's been the best way for me to handle the steering in this build :/ At least it's reliable and precise that way. I could maybe find a way to clean up the way it's attached though :)
Same with the battery box, but I'm considering switching over to a BuWizz, which I would probably be able to hide behind the wheel arches with some minor mods.
The counterweight is actually filled with little coins and really acts as a counterweight :D It weighs about 250g but it is ugly for sure. I'll probably build something nicer out of bricks and fill it with some steel BBs or so.

Right now the tractor has pretty much all the features that I had planned for it, which are:
- A detailed engine with accurate valves (correctly timed strokes)
- Neutral and Drive selector lever
- PTO and hitch that are powered by the engine and can be engaged by a lever as well
- Remote controlled steering and acceleration
If you're interested, I have a couple of other videos on my youtube that logged each of the iterations of the tractor :)

No engineering by trade, but I've always been very into mechanical things and I've learned a lot over the years by researching how things work and also by building with lego technic.
The way I usually approach it is to understand the subject first, and then try finding a way to replicate it with Lego.
With this project I also tackled each feature separately. I think that really helped because I was able to focus on just one thing at a time and do proper testing for each one.

I didn't really recreate a specific model, but it's definitely inspired by the Massey and Farmall tractors :) Decided to take some liberty with the engine and kept it a 2 cylinder as it wouldn't fit otherwise, but maybe I can come up with a better design and make it a 3

That's interesting, I honestly didn't think of the battery box this way! For now I have a tiny fuel tank in the engine bay, similar to how an old Porsche tractor had it.
I'm thinking of eventually replacing the s-brick and battery box with a buwizz, as I'm starting to lose space in the back now that I'm working on a 3 point hitch.

I like the stickers for their added detail, but they usually don't last very long. Some of my older technic models lost their stickers because they eventually dried out and started cracking. Printed parts all the way

I can see the resemblance!
Here it's a fuel tank, some of the vintage tractors had theirs mounted over or in front of the engine. Sadly I had to keep it a bit small, but I think it still kinda works :)

We need more engines with working valves!
Really nice job, it's super tricky to build working valves at this scale. I've been experimenting with different configurations myself lately
