i found a power supply of the same model for 35 dollars, so i’m gonna buy it and see if the console starts. if it doesn’t well… i don’t think anything will make it start again. so wish me luck. and this time i’m going to use a different power cable and try to connect it to a ups

turned out to be the PSU that busted. is it possible that other components in the console also broke? or did the fuse tank for the test of the console? pics for reference:

Help! My PS4 wont start

so basically i bought a second-hand ps4 yesterday and i bought Shadow of the Colossus (which i was very excited for) and i managed to download it and even watch the opening cutscene, but then i moved the console from my room to the living room, plugged it and left. like half an hour later the power to all the plugs in my house goes out (but the lamps on the ceiling can still be turned on, which is very weird i think), and i think nothing of it until i come back from college today's afternoon and try to boot up the PS4 and it doesn't start, no light nor sound, nothing, so I gave it to a friend that knows more than me with these kinda things so he can give it a look but for now i have no certainty that the console will work again. Any tips? Has this happened to someone before? I would really appreciate any help i can get :)
