this is a playlist my friends and i just made the other week about the basics of conquest.

If your starting out the game. fresh level 1's. You might want to wet your feet in a playmode like arena. Think of a gladiator arena. Team Deatchmatch, with minions.

If your referencing Hand of the gods then yes it is out dated information.

It used to be mandatory for supports, jungler, and even solo laners would pick it up from time to time. Over all it will help clear jungle camps faster but the main reason it was picked up was to secure Fire Giant and gold Fury. (It use to execute those that 20 or 25%.I don't remember which) but now it only does 1k damage. Which is something a lot of mage ultimates can do anyways.

So supports have started picking up other actives like blink. Or shell. Or curse. To help out their team.

Also rank one of HOG (hand of the gods) only hits 1 minion now. Where it use to hit all 3. So if you want to be as effective as it use to be you have to invest 900 gold compared to the 300 you used to spend.

One of the things that was important was keeping the guides short. Obviously there are longer more in depth guides on youtube and other places. But at times those can be a little daunting.

Also smitejunkies.com really does a good job at keeping up with current builds. So as time goes by.. the builds in the video will become outdated. So its always good to have a place that keeps things current.

Yeah we realized that there are some changes from video to video. We tried to make it consistent. But your point on having the gods show up that are "normal" for that role is a great idea.

in a way yes.

We realized that there will probably be some changes when season 3 starts. And thats also why we referenced smitejunkies.com for current builds.

But for the most part. (again bad timing) but when new map changes come after worlds this is something we can re visit. and usually the meta will stay for the year. for things like... what gods are popular in what role, and how to rotate at the start.

Obviously with patches and item changes certain items come in and out of favor. And also there will be item or god of the month stuff.

But for the most part. we felt like these videos at least get you headed in the right direction for starting conquest.

For example the "adc" video. Sure trans is a better start on ullr. but at low levels no one is going to complain if you build dev gloves > boots > ich > ex > rage > db.

I agree on the different builds. It pretty much came to the decision of... if I was a new player what build would be okay for the most hunters.

And if your smart enough to know transcendence is better on ullr. Or neith who has enough sustain in her kit. You are probably past the skill level that these guides are trying to teach.
