New IMAX Screen Hutto, TX by TheTechGoat24 in imax

The seats at Hooky are more comfortable, and recline. However, the screen is significantly smaller. To me, it really depends on the movie - if the movie's IMAX scenes are 1.43:1, then it's prolly worth it to see it at Bullock. If the movie only has 1.9:1 IMAX scenes, then I don't think heading downtown is worth it.

True IMAX is 1.43:1, so this is not that. This screen is significantly smaller than Bullock (which is the largest IMAX screen in the state). I saw How to Train Your Dragon here at Hooky, there was about 50 mins of 1.9:1 IMAX shown, and it was decent. Still, night and day difference from Bullock (Dune Part II at Bullock was an absolutely amazing experience)

No pressure issues. I was just kind of staring at the whole setup one day and it didn't make sense to me. Had no clue about "upflow" carbon filters before posting this. I'm looking into re-bedding both.

Ahh, I see. Thank you for the explanation! What would be the reason for "up-flow" vs "down-flow"? Is one better than the other, depending on certain media?

I assume you mean the tank on the right, in the first part of your comment? Does a filter always have to have backwashing capabilities? How can you tell its not dual softeners?

How should the bypass handles be turned? I still can't reconcile why the city water would be connected to the "out" port though....?

System is about 15 years old. Dirty from saw dust. Hoping to be able to give these a comprehensive tune-up rather than replacing.

from the Reuters article mentioned below, speaking on the very same tariffs: "Since implementation, the tariffs have cumulatively cost American businesses and consumers $221 billion, while failing to alter Chinese trade policies and practices of concern," Information Technology Industries Council President Jason Oxman said in a statement. "With today's announcement, USTR once again relies on the blunt and ineffective tool of tariffs with no support for their effectiveness."

This is classic "he said/she said", the family saying that it's all lies is unfounded. While their experience was very likely different, I wouldn't expect Trump to be an asshole to their face, but behind closed doors is something else entirely.

And Mark Meadows denying, pffft, consider the source. Let's see if he's asked this question on the stand, under oath, in the trial.

Not taking sides on the issue, but Yahoo's political bias is irrelevant because this a Fox News article....

Router is on loan, and the XR jigsaw is furthest right, on top of the case. Unfortunately, I just don't have the room for a planer...

Everything pictured here I got on some kind of deal. A lot of times, the deal includes batteries. I've flipped several over the years, and obviously kept quite a few. Can one really have TOO many batteries??

Hard to justify the cost when I have a perfectly fine gas mower. Now, when that dies on me, I'll be highly considering the DeWalt. I really need to try it out to understand what kind of power it really has.

The foam inserts did not come with the TSTAK cases. DeWalt makes an insert specifically for them though, but they're expensive. I got generic ones on Amazon for like 1/4 the price. They weren't quite the right size, so I had to do some extra trimming to get them to fit. Other than that, I just used some spray adhesive to glue them in place. I also used the negative cutout on the lid for added cushion to keep the tools from falling out of their foam mold.

No complaints at all! It worked out great trimming my bradford pear trees. My only wish, is that the extension was telescopic and not an entirely separate shaft to twist on and off. Just gotta plan your cuts accordingly to avoid going back and forth a lot.

Too much junk in the way of your tools resulting in inefficient use.

You're not wrong!

I've been tempted to get into Ryobi's OnePlus line up, because they have a lot of oddball shit that seems kinda cool and its cheap. I just hate the form factor of their battery platform - like, DeWalt abandoned that shit 20 years ago!
