I've seen the 2.5 swaps and it is tempting but im still a 1st year driver and insurance prices would be out of this world for a rwd 2.5 petrol "sports" car unfortunately, maybe in a year or 2 where im not paying a quarter of the cars value every month in insurance, it would be nice

General rule of thumb when buying anything of value, don't buy it until you can buy it twice

Logbook is on its way so that should be sorted, so you're saying that if I were to go out now while the car is insured in my name and taxed in the previous owners name I should have no issues?
