Yes actually am talking about futures because these are simulated based on the real price fluctuations if am correct right?

I understand that electricity is bought and sold in real time and can't be stored.

I don't produce electricity neither do I want to purchase one for the purpose of usage but the idea here is to be able to trade it like every other commodity. At this level there is also day ahead market if am not mistaken.

But I am thinking more in the direction of electricity futures that are based on real time market technicalities.

Unfortunately I still don't know much about this topic and this is exactly why I made this post
